Cup cozy – the perfect stocking filler

In january I made about 70 mug warmers in all the colours my wool shelf had to offer. The fitting cafetiere cosies are also available, well, not all colours yet. Anyway, I think I deserve a place in the guiness book of records for crocheting so many mug warmers. I just enjoy making those. Keep your coffee hot!

The cafétiere cosies are made from double layered chunky yarn threads. They are handmade crochet and come in many colours! These cosies fit for a Bodum glass coffee maker or similar in the size for 1 litre. Each cosy has two buttons. The variety of the buttons I use go from wooden floral design, vintage leather buttons or modern wood buttons in one colour. You can wash these cafetiere cosies with 30 degrees centigrade in the machine!

I have tested how long the coffee stays hot. The result was astonishing. Because of the thickness of the material, wich has the warming effect of felt, the coffee stays 3 times longer hot than normal.

If you like to have a personalised cosy, lets say with a monogram, your initials, your name, a certain flower or in any pattern, please let me know. It is always a pleasure to crochet customised things. Within 2 days I can produce your cosy.  I make these cosies all myself and love to experiment with new desings. Merry Berry Hats

Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, gooseberries, plums and lemons  – all these hats you will find in my shop. They are all handmade and knitted with love!
I have been knitting berry-hats and other fruity hats for the last 7 years and I still enjoy so much making them.  Such fun, as my favourite comedian Miranda would say!  There are many more images of fruit hats to come. For example a watermelon, orange, pineapple, apple and a pumpkin hat.  Some apple hats will have little caterpillars on top. So always a little variation on every beanie. Granny Flyer Frisbee

THE GRANNY FLYER is a crochet frisbee. It is handmade of pure cotton and it is machine washable. We used two layers of threads to give the frisbee a certain weight and that the surface is stiff and firm. This soft flyer can fly up to 10 meter and has amazing aerodynamic flight behaviour. You can fly it indoors and outdoors. The edges are soft, so nobody can be hurt. It is also a doggie frisbee. Dogs love frisbees. The word GRANNY FLYER is an adaption of the word Granny Square.
